Iranian president's visit to Libya postponed

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's two-day visit to Libya has been postponed. Ahmadinejad planned to participate at the meeting of the African Union held every two years, Mehr reported.

The African Union was founded in 1999. The union composes five African states. The 12th summit took place on Feb. 1, 2009 in Addis Ababa. At the summit Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi was elected chairman of the union for one-year term.
