The value of non-oil exports from Iran's West Azarbaijan province hit $106 billion in the 3 months period ended June 22, up 140 percent compared to the figure for the same period last year.
The province's commerce department director said that fruits, construction materials, foodstuff, and plastic products were the main exported items and Iraq, turkey, the Netherlands, India, and Germany were respectively the main target destinations, IRIB reported on Monday.
The total value of West Azarbaijan''s non-oil exports is expected to reach $450 million by the end of the current calendar year (March 20, 2010), the official said.
