As part of the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's visit, the Iranian Armed Forces held military exercises in the Caspian Sea with the participation of students of the Imam Khomeini Military Lyceum in the Noshehr city on Oct. 7, ILNA reported.
The exercises aimed to improve soldiers' professionalism, combat and psychological readiness. The exercises were held with the participation of paratroopers and divers, by using ships and boats, guns, heavy caliber weapons, armor and military equipment.
Under the Sina project, the exercises in the Caspian Sea were also involved the Deravsh frigate.
Ayatollah Khamenei arrived in the Iranian province of Mazandaran with a two-day visit on Oct. 6. His visit ends today.
