Iranian Police Chief General Ismail Ahmadi Mogaddam announced that the events dedicated to the student's day should be hold exclusively on college campuses, and only with the permission of the Ministry of Education, the Iranian "Mehrnews" agency reported.
Police will respond to any attempts to hold any actions outside the universities, Mogaddam added.
Every year on December 7 Iran celebrate the student's day. This year the students of Tehran University gathered three thousand signatures, asked former presidential candidates Mehdi Karroubi and Mir Hussein Mousavi the permission to participate in planning actions.
Reformists Karoubi and Mousavi has not responded to the request of students.
Official Iran demanded all foreign journalists to suspend their activities for three days, BBC reported.
One of the Iranian Internet users who wished to remain anonymous, told Trend , that Iran has blocked Goggle, Yahoo, Facebook and Twitter services since December 5.
