Two prisoners will be executed today in the Evin prison, Tehran Prosecutor Office's Heinous Crimes Department Head Fakhraddin Jafarzadeh was quoted as saying by the Iranian Fars news agency.
He said that the prisoners, who were sentenced to death, raped resident of Tehran's Levasan district in front of her husband and daughter.
Based on the Amnesty International's reports, Iran takes second place after China for the number of the death sentences.
