Iran intends to arouse the dignity and the heroic spirit of the Islamic nations, Iranian supreme leader Ayetollah Ali Khamenei said at a ceremony commissioning of the Jamaran destroyer, ILNA reported.

At the ceremony where naval commanders and specialists involved in the production of a destroyer took part, he named the destroyer "significant achievement, which became possible only through faith and hope for help of Allah."

"Some desire initially seems unattainable dream, but faith and hope can turn the impossible into reality," he said. "So I believe that further advances in this field will be even greater."

He also noted that recent statements by Obama and other senior U.S. officials indicated that they are nervous and aware of their powerlessness on the Iranian people.

"They constantly repeat on the production of nuclear weapons by Iran, which indicates that the Iranian people's enemies are also powerless in the promotion and advertising," he added.

He added that the U.S and some other Western countries "accused" Iran that its nuclear program poses a risk to neighboring countries, but these claims are false.

"Sowing discord among the Islamic states, the U.S. and Zionist regime, want to divert the attention of these countries from themselves as the main enemies of the Muslim nations," he said.

Iranian supreme leader Ayetollah Ali Khameneiattended the handover ceremony of the Jamaran destroyer to the Iranian naval forces.

The ceremony was held in the Persian Gulf and was attended by an Iranian Defense Ministry senior official.
