A passenger bus going from Tabriz to Tehran overturned on the Tabriz-Zanjan highway in Iran. As a result of the traffic accident, three people died and 37 were injured, the Iranian news agency FARS reported.

A passenger bus going from Tabriz to Tehran overturned on the Tabriz-Zanjan highway in Iran. As a result of the traffic accident, three people died and 37 were injured, the Iranian news agency FARS reported.

The traffic accident occurred at noon March 27. A passenger bus overturned, crashing into the border of the main road. "The state of injured people is heavy, it is likely to increase the death-toll," executive director of the city Emergency Situations Office Zanjan Muhammedrza Barati said.

The injured were taken to Zanjan city hospital. The cause of the accident was that the driver fell asleep and lost control of the car, Barati said.
