About 10 of 19 projects aimed at independent production of drugs for the treatment of cancer have been approved, Deputy Minister of Health Research, Mostafa Ganei said, MEHR news agency reported.
Drugs will be produced after funds are allocated to implement projects, he said.
Drugs manufactured on the basis of biotechnology will be used to treat cancers of the respiratory and central nervous system.
