"Answer to Vienna Group is ready and the diplomatic organ will soon announce due conditions," Mottaki told reporters on the sidelines of his meeting with a group of academics on Friday, ILNA reported.
Talking about his meeting with EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton on the sidelines of an international conference in the Afghan capital Mottaki said the meeting was held following the other side's request.
During the meeting Ashton told Mottaki that "She is ready to start nuclear negotiations."
"We are in contact with the Islamic Republic of Iran and we are serious to find a solution acceptable for both the parties," she quoted as saying.
Ashton represents the six world powers -- Britain, China, France, Russia, Germany and the United States -- for holding a dialogue with the Islamic Republic of Iran over its nuclear program
