Iran made flight simulators of Cobra helicopter, Iranian Air Force commander Kiumars Ahadi said at the ceremony in the city of Kirman, Iranian news agency FARS reported.
Ahadi said that simulations were made to minimize human losses and reduce the number of flights.
Flights of Cobra helicopters cost a few thousand dollars. "Sanctions were imposed against Iran. Seven years were spent in this regards. Hard work was conducted to build a simulator," Ahadi said.
He said that the two simulators were produced within the project "Mansour". A moving simulator was made in 2007. The investments in the production amounted to $2 million.
