The Islamic Republic of Iran will dispatch additional 1100 tons of aid shipments to Pakistan, Interior Minister Mustafa Mohammad Najjar said, IRIB News reported.

The Islamic Republic of Iran will dispatch additional 1100 tons of aid shipments to Pakistan, Interior Minister Mustafa Mohammad Najjar said, IRIB News reported.

Speaking with reporters in Mehrabad International Airport after coming back from Pakistan, Mohammad Najjar added ten more aid shipments will be dispatched within the next few days.

In our visit to flood stricken areas of Pakistan, he said, methods to aid Pakistani people and essential items were identified and evaluated.

He went on to say that the quality of aid will be improved and the number of tents for the flood victims will be multiplied.

IRI Red Crescent has set up a camp in Pakistan and is scheduled to establish some other camps in coordination with the Pakistani authorities in different areas for distribution of aids among flood victims.
