Iran will produce missiles surpassing the strength of Phoenix rockets, the deputy commander of the Iranian Air Force, Aziz Nasirzade, was quoted as saying by the MEHR news agency.
"The Iranian Air Force has made great achievements in the production of air-to-air missiles, which is comparable and probably beyond Phoenix missiles. The superiority of these rockets is their greater range and the use of an active guidance head," he said.
Iran will hold a military parade timed for the nation's Holy Protection Week on Sept. 22. The parade will include the all branches of the Iranian armed forces.
