Sarah Shourd, one of three American hikers jailed in Iran for almost 15 months, landed Tuesday evening in the Omani capital of Muscat, dpa reported.
Iran freed her after a 500,000-dollar bail was posted. Swiss diplomats escorted her to the airport in Tehran, after their embassy in Iran helped coordinate her release.
Oman is an Arab sultanate at the eastern end of the Arabian peninsula.
