Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki is to make a visit to Oman on Sunday evening for 13th joint economic cooperation commission session, ISNA reported.
The meeting started on Saturday is co-chaired by Omani Minister of Trade and Industry Maqbool bin Ali bin Sultan and Iranian Foreign Minister.
It mainly seeks to pursue agreements made during the 12th session, evaluation of advancement of projects and implementation of Memoranda and Cooperation (MoU) signed between the two countries during the trip of King of Oman Sultan Qaboos to Iran last year.
Also finalization of launch of shared shipping line between Iran and Oman, goods swap, customs agreement and insurance are to be discussed by the two sides.
Mottaki is to meet with King of Oman, Omani Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah and Prime Minister Fahad bin Mahmud Al-Said and discuss bilateral, regional and international cooperation.
