Iran and Lebanon are interested in expanding bilateral ties, Iranian Press TV channel quotes the Lebanese President Michel Suleiman.
According to Suleiman, the two countries have a common enemy (Israel), and therefore share common interests.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad paid an official visit to Beirut. During the visit the two countries signed 17 documents in the energy, construction, agricultural and other spheres.
