Two German citizens, who tried to meet with Sakina Ashtiani's family by presenting fake press ID cards were arrested in the Iranian city of Tabriz, Iranian Prosecutor General Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei said at a press conference, Iranian FARS news agency reports.
According to him, the arrested individuals pleaded guilty. Ejei, however, didn't call their names.
Sakina Ashtiani, was found guilty of murdering her husband in collusion with another man and was sentenced to death by stoning. She denies all the charges against her.
