Activity of former Iranian President Mohammad Khatami's official website (khatami.ir) has been restricted in accordance with the country's law 'On cyber crimes".
A working group created to identify cyber crimes, has decided to refuse from providing this resource with Internet services within the country Nov. 3, khatami.ir. website reported.
The decision was taken due to the website's disparity with the 32nd paragraph of this law.
Iranian officials have not yet confirmed or denied the news.
Mohammed Khatami is a representative of Iran's reformist camp. He served as the country's president of from 1997 to 2005. Khatami in the presidential elections in 2009 supported Mir-Hossein Mousavi's candidacy.
