Iran has arrested "some elements" working with Western spy agencies and connected to the murder of a senior nuclear scientist, ILNA reported.
Several agents behind the Monday terrorist bombings in Tehran have been nabbed, IRI Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi said Thursday.
The minister said Israeli spy agency Mossad as well as the British MI6 and the CIA had a hand in the acts of terror, adding that the arrested individuals have provided the ministry's authorities with tips about their vast terror network.
The minister noted that the terror network had planned extensively adding that the ministry could abort their future moves.
Moslehi noted that Iran knew from the day the latest UN resolution was approved carrying the names of Iranian nuclear scientists that the world arrogance was seeking to stir the situation.
Moslehi said they were a part of a "major group" that took part in the killing and that planned to carry out "widespread missions."
