Iran has executed five drug traffickers accused of drug trafficking in the Khurramabad city, Iranian television's iribnews.ir website reported.
According to the information, Lorestan Province Prosecutor's Office stated that the executed individuals were accused of drug trafficking and use. The verdict was also approved by the Iranian Supreme Court.
During last three weeks Iran has executed 40 individuals, accused of drug trafficking and rape.
