For the second time in a week President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday held telephone conversation on the situation in Lebanon, Mehr news agency said.
Ahmadinejad said Iran would spare no effort to help resolve problems facing the Lebanese. He also said all regional countries should help Lebanese officials resolve their issues as soon as possible through dialogue.
Erdogan also said Turkey wants Iranian officials to hold talks with Lebanese political groups on their problems.
Erdogan said his Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu had held talks with Qatari and Lebanese officials in this regard, expressing hope that with the help of Iran the problems would be solved soon.
