Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini said here on Thursday that Iran's cultural interaction with regional countries will improve in near future, IRNA reported.
Addressing a conference on the First Kish International Film Festival, which was attended by ambassadors and cultural attaches from 33 Central Asian, Middle East countries, he added that given the commonalities between Iran and the countries, cultural interaction existed from ancient times.
He also called on the artists to help organize the First International Kish Film Festival in the best manner.
Stating that the 10th government's approach is cultural-oriented, Hosseini also invited foreign artists to actively take part in the country's cultural events.
"We are ready to organize cultural weeks and film festivals in the countries and help promote bonds between the nations," he said.
