Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei is to lead the Friday prayers congregation on the Tehran University campus on February 4, IRNA reported.
This will take place in commemoration of the Fajr Ten-Day ceremonies that start on Feb 1 annually across Iran to celebrate the victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979.
Fajr means 'Dawn'. These ceremonies last ten days because it took ten days from when the Father of the Islamic Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini, returned to Tehran on February 1, 1979 from his years-long exile until the victory of the Islamic Revolution on February 11, the same year.
