Iranian President positively assesses prospects of Iran-Egypt relations

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the prospects of the Iranian and Egyptian relations are obvious and positive.
The Iranian President said to a press conference on April 4 that Iran wants to strengthen its relations with all peoples as well as the Egyptian government, except Israel.
Earlier the foreign minister of Egypt stated that if Iran changes the name of the avenue named after Khalid Istanbuli, killer of former Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, the restoration of relations between the two countries can be reconsidered.
The diplomatic relations between Iran and Egypt broke in 1979.
Ahmadinejad said to alive ether of Iranian television that it does not need to put conditions for the restoration of relations between the two peoples.
