Tehran will support NAM in combating global unemployment crisis

Iranian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Abdorreza Sheikh-ol Eslami voiced Tehran's willingness to support Non Aligned Movement's plans in the field of social justice on Thursday, IRNA reported.

Sheikh-ol Eslami made the remarks during the 100th Session of the International Labour Conference currently underway in Geneva, Switzerland.

He said the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to support NAM in the fields of social justice for fair globalization and combating the global unemployment crisis.

Sheikh-ol Eslami underlined that undoubtedly NAM, with 118 member states and 20 observers, is one of the most effective political groups in the third millennium.

He added that most of the top goals of the contemporary world including "millennium aims" or "fair globalization" would not be fulfilled without cooperation with NAM member states.

The annual session of the International Labour Conference opened in Geneva on June 1 and will be wrapped up on June 17.
