Iran to export oil products to Pakistan

Iran has agreed to export oil products to Pakistan while it would start to export 3 million liters of diesel per day to Afghanistan, Pananews reported quoting Deputy Oil Minister Alireza Zeyghami as saying.

"Currently, Iran and Pakistan started to negotiate on the export of five oil products to Pakistan. The neighboring country requested gasoline, white oil, gas-oil, furnace fuel oil and LNG," he said.

He said in the current situation there is a possibility to export oil products, except gasoline, to Pakistan.

Meantime, Iran is to start export of diesel and jet fuel to Afghanistan in the near future after two countries agreed to export 3 million liter diesel per day.

Iran exports 1.5 million liters diesel to Iraq while it is expected to increase the volume to 3 million liters, he said.

Iran and Afghanistan agreed on export of 300,000 tons oil products from Iran, 70 percent of export include diesel, 20 percent gasoline and 10 percent jet fuel.
