Iran will soon return its ambassador back to Libya, Iranian Foreign Ministry's spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said, IRINN reported.
"Now, we are working on this issue," Mehmanparast said at his weekly press-conference.
Iran, as many countries, has not closed its embassy in Libya during the clashes, but it has recalled its envoy due to security, he added.
Mehmanparast noted that Iran is interested in establishing the diplomatic relations with the newly formed Libyan government.
The deputy chief of the rebels' council, Mahmoud Jibril, said on Monday Libya would have a new transitional government within 10 days of the rebels gaining control of the whole country.
The new government will include representatives from different regions in Libya, he added.
