Iran says IAEA report prepared based on West's view

The IAEA report is prepared based on Western countries' views, Spokesman of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament Kazem Jalali said on Wednesday, ISNA reported.

"The report is absolutely based on western countries' view since we witnessed how some American and European officials took position before the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) released its report on Iran's nuclear drive," Jalali said.

He noted, "The U.S. and French presidents' positions and remarks of Zionist regime president Shimon Peres on the issue show that the agency has deviated from its main objective and moved beyond it."

He also added, "The media smear campaign has been escalated since the release of the IAEA report. It shows that they are seeking to create smear campaign, but they should know they would not make Iran act hastily," Jalali said.

He added, "Western countries have already taken actions which have finally led to their regret."

Jalali continued, "Our nuclear path is absolutely peaceful and irrevocable. The IAEA inspectors observed the activities. We will continue our path and such smear campaigns would not affect Iranian nations' will in this regard."
