Russian Deputy FM visits Iran

Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister for Middle-East Affairs Mikhail Bogdanov as a delegation head arrived in Iran on Friday evening, IRIB News reported.
Bogdanov plans to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and Deputy Foreign Minister Hossien Amir Abdoulahyan and to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
This week Secretary Assistant of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council Ali Bageri visited Moscow, where he met with several Russian top officials, including Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov and Russian Security Council Secretary Yevgeniy Lukyanov.
On Friday, Bageri and Lukyanov signed an agreement on strategic partnership.
Under the agreement, bilateral cooperation will be boosted in security, political, economic and information spheres.
