IAEA claims neither legal nor technical: Iran FM

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said the IAEA claims on Iranian nuclear issue are neither legal nor technical, ISNA reported.

Salehi said, "The nuclear installations in which no nuclear material is exchanged are not in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) domain of responsiblity. The IAEA recent action is a political pressure, not a legal or technical one."

"The IAEA should care about the installations that exchange nuclear materials," Salehi told reports.

Salehi noted, "The IAEA recent report on Iranian nuclear work claiming there are possible military aspects in Iranian nuclear drive is not a new issue. They are just alleged studies and documents put forth at the time of the IAEA former Director General Mohammad Elbaradei. Elbaradei had said that they were not sure of validity of the documents."

Salehi continued, "Why don't they hand the documents if they are truthful in their allegations? What is the content of the studies if there is any?"

"They have made allegation against Iran on missile studies and warheads which can carry nuclear weapons, but their claim is not technically correct."
