Senior Iranian and Georgian foreign ministry officials attended a first meeting on consulate cooperation between Tehran and Tbilisi here in Tehran on Monday, FNA repored.
The meeting held at the venue of the Iranian foreign ministry in Tehran was headed by the Iranian foreign ministry's director-general for consulate affairs, Seyed Hossein Mir-Fakhar, and his Georgian counterpart George Tabadzhe.
The two sides discussed judicial cooperation, extradition of criminals and expansion of cooperation in science and student-related areas.
Iran and Georgia lifted visa requirements last year.
