Western measures against Iran are a psychological war, Press TV quoted Iranian Foreign Ministry's spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast as saying on Tuesday.
"Human rights issue has become a political tool in the hands of arrogant powers," Mehmanparast told journalists at a weekly press-conference.
As for Israeli top officials' recent statements on possible attacks on Iran, he noted that their words do not deserve any attention.
"Israel will not dare initiate any aggression against Iran," Mehmanparast said. "Any mistakes by Israel to attack Iran will have unknown consequences."
In early November, some Israeli media published reports saying Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned that a military strike on Iran was an option.
After the statements, Israel successfully test-fired a missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead and striking Iran.
Mehmanparast further said Israel must be forced to sign the NPT and dismantle its nuke bombs.
Commenting on the latest IAEA report, he stressed that Iran is a frontrunner in the WMD's movement and uses its nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
"We have fulfilled all our responsibilities under the NPT and we consider ourselves a committed member of the IAEA," he said.
On November 8, IAEA General Director Yukiya Amano issued report which reads that the "information indicates Iran has carried out activities relevant to the development of nuclear explosive devices."
