Iranian people will regard a thief anyone, who will attempt to put hands on wealth of Iranian nation, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said.
He was commenting on the recent EU sanctions imposed on the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), IRINN Channel reported on Wednesday.
"The blockade of Iranian goods and money is regarded as stealing. Iranian people won't allow anyone's enrichment for their own money," said Ahmadinejad.
The U.S., UK and Canada announced new sanctions targeting Iran's banks and oil industry on Monday.
The resolution followed IAEA General Director's Yukiya Amano report, issued on November 8, which reads that the "information indicates Iran has carried out activities relevant to the development of nuclear explosive devices."
Iranian President noted that enemies of Iran are not adviced to reach out for country's wealth.
"Such actions cannot prevent Iran from further development. We won't allow anyone to strip Iranian people off their fair rights," the president said.
"The EU makes every wish of the U.S. come true, as its blind servant. By doing so, EU harms both their own interests and economy as well," Ahmadinejad added.
Iran's refusal to abandon its nuclear activities has resulted in four rounds of the UN Security Council's sanctions as well as additional unilateral sanctions approved by the U.S. Congress and the foreign ministers of all EU countries in 2010, which were primarily directed against the banking, financial and energy sectors of Iran.
"To continue its nuclear program, Iranian people do not need to create a nuclear bomb. Our enemies should be aware that if Iran would want to create a nuclear bomb, it will be announced publicly, without any fear. And when Iran says, that it isn't going to create a bomb, it means that it doesn't have this bomb, and it does not intend to create one," Ahmadinejad said.
