The ECO Cultural Institute is to hold an exhibition of artworks and handicrafts by Bolivian and Venezuelan artists in the Iranian capital of Tehran, Press TV reported.
The Cultural Heart of the World will kick off during a ceremony which is to be attended by the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) ambassadors to Iran and the ECI president on November 25, 2011.
The event will run until December 9, 2011, showcasing photographs, paintings, traditional musical instrument, fabrics and basketry, IRNA reported.
The exhibition aims to introduce arts and culture of Bolivia and Venezuela to the Iranian audience.
The ECO Cultural Institute (ECI) aims to foster understanding among ECO member states and preserve their rich cultural heritage through common projects in the field of media, literature, arts, philosophy, sport and education.
ECI's Charter was signed on March 15, 1995 in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.
