Iran organizes specialized exhibition in Tajikistan

Fourth specialized exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran kicked off in Tajikistan on Nov. 30, the State Complex Kokhi Borbad, Asia Plus reported.
The exhibition is organized by the International Iranian exhibition company Meshed, and the Chamber of Commerce of Tajikistan with the support of the two countries' governments.
According to the deputy head of the Chamber of Commerce of Tajikistan Asanali Karamaliyev, the exhibition is aimed at widening the commercial and economic relations between the two countries, investment opportunities in Tajikistan, search for business partners, and creation of joint ventures.
Meshed Executive director Abbas Nejad believes that the event will add a positive impulse for development of the commercial relations between Iran and Tajikistan.
The exhibition features spheres of Iran's economy as food processing, construction, agriculture, medical equipment, land reclamation and the production of vegetable oils, packaging equipment, household products, ventilation systems, etc.
Only 27 Iranian companies were able to attend the event because of the difficulty in transporting goods. The exhibition will last by Dec. 4.
