Iranian petrochemical complex catches fire

A fire incident occurred today at the Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex, southern Iran, but there were no injuries or financial losses, the Mehr news agency reported.
The BDSR unit part of the complex caught fire due to technical problems, but it promptly put out, the report added.
Two of the most important zones for the production of petrochemicals in Iran currently are Bandar Imam's Petrochemical Zone (Petzone) and Assaluyeh's Pars Special Energy Economic Zone (PSEEZ).
