Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said on Saturday that Iran has invited the Group 5+1(five permanent members of the Security Council and Germany) to come back to negotiations and cooperation, IRNA reported.

He told a conference on Islamic Awakening in presence of ambassadors of the Islamic Republic of Iran abroad that Iran receives conflicting messages from the European Union indicating that the European governments face acute differences of opinion.

Citing the Supreme Leader's remarks to the ambassadors that Iran has developed dialogue with international community in light of public participation in the governing system and divine values, Jalili said that Iran will focus on national strength, logic and reserves the right to take initiative in the upcoming negotiations.

"Thank God Iran is currently at the height of strength which is encouraging for other nations to stand up to oppression, adding that the public support for the Islamic Republic of Iran and the opportunity created by the regional and international developments have redoubled Iran's national power", Jalili said.

Earlier, Iran's ambassador to Germany said a next round of multifaceted talks between Iran and 5+1 group will be held after Iran's Supreme National Security Council secretary Saeed Jalili submits a letter to EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton.

Alireza Sheikh Attar said necessary negotiations are already being carried out to arrange new round of talks between Iran and the 5+1 group (five permanent members of the Security Council and Germany).

"In addition to our recent letters to the European Union, we will soon send another letter and then a meeting will be arranged," the Iranian diplomat told the Mehr News Agency.

"To arrange the modalities of negotiations Mr. Jalili is to give a letter to Ms. Ashton," Sheikh Attar declared, adding that after this letter Iran and the 5+1 group start their negotiations.
