Iran's production of lead and zinc increased to over 120,000 tons, a 19.6 per cent rise from last year, Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reports.
In the first nine months of this year (Iran's solar year ends in March) Iran produced 104,400 tons of zinc compared with 97,100 tons over the same period last year and 15,700 tons of lead compared with 14,000 tons last year.
