Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Saturday that his country would not cooperate with Europe in its sanctions against Iran, IRNA reported.

According to Turkish state TV, Davutoglu stated the remark in a meeting with Gulf Cooperation Council's foreign ministers in Istanbul.

He said that Turkey does not agree with EU oil sanction against Iran.

Davutoglu underlined that his country will not participate in any sanctions against Iran except those approved by the United Nations Security Council.

He added that Iran-Turkey cooperation will continue in the field of energy.
