Iranian police has banned travelling to Syria by bus, commander of the Passport Police and Foreign Citizens in Iran, General Mahmoud Sadeghi said, Mehr reported.
He urged Iranians, mainly pilgrims, to travel to Syria by airlines and along with officially organized tours to the turmoil torn country.
The Saudi based Al-Arabia TV reported Friday that another six Iranian citizens were abducted in the Syrian city of Adlab by an armed group.
A total of 29 Iranians have been abducted in Syria for the past couple of months. Most of them were pilgrims.
