Military intervention in Iran would be 'complete disaster', Turkish FM says
Turkey's top diplomat on Friday expressed dead-set opposition to a possible military intervention in Iran, Anadolu Agency reported.
"That would be complete disaster. This has to be ruled out as an option. It is does not make sense and it is impractical. As Turkey, we will be against such a possibility and we will never approve an operation, a new military tension in our region," Ahmet Davutoglu told a meeting of Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington.
