Police have identified the name of the fifth suspect who may have been involved in Tuesday explosions in downtown Bangkok, Thai News Agency reported on Saturday.

National Police Bureau Chief Pol Gen Priewpan Dhamapong told reporters on Saturday that investigators identified the fifth suspect who appeared on surveillance camera footages but he had already left Thailand, Xinhua reported.

The camera captured images of him walking from the rented house where the first bomb apparently exploded by accident.

According to the surveillance record, he had left the house between 7-8 a.m. local time, and the first explosion occurred on the same day at a rented house in Soi Sukhumvit 71 in downtown Bangkok that afternoon.

However, Gen Priewpan did not revealed the name of the fifth suspect. He merely said that the investigation was ongoing and until now no additional arrest warrants were sought from the court.

Thailand said it had uncovered an Iranian squad of saboteurs who had plotted an attack on Israeli interests on Tuesday.

Thailand's Criminal Court on Thursday issued arrest warrants for four Iranians on various charges related to Tuesday's Bangkok bomb incidents.

Two Iranian suspects were arrested earlier -- Saeid Moradi, 28, who lost both legs from his own explosive device -- and another suspect, Mohammad Hazaei, 42, who was taken into custody at Bangkok's main international Airport on Tuesday while attempting to board a plane bound for Malaysia.

A third Iranian identified as Masoud Sedaghatzadeh was arrested on Wednesday by Malaysian authorities in Kuala Lumpur and Thai authorities were processesing paper work for extradition.

Regarding a fourth suspect, a female Iranian national identified as Rohani Leila, Immigration Bureau Commissioner Pol Lt Gen Wiboon Bangthamai cited intelligence reports that she returned to the Iranian capital of Tehran.

Rohani was identified as the person who rented the house at Sukhumvit 71's Soi Pridi Panomyong 31.
