Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi Monday evening in Geneva underlined the need for expansion of relations between Tehran and Bishkek, ISNA reported.
Salehi made the remarks in a meeting with his Kyrgyz counterpart Ruslan Kazakbaev.
During the meeting held on the sidelines of the 19th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), Salehi called for making use of the two sides' potentials to promote cooperation in various fields.
The Kyrgyz foreign minister, for his part, expressed willingness to foster ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
