Tehran, Ankara discuss Iran's nuclear issue

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu in a phone conversation conferred on the latest developments related to Iran's nuclear issue and the negotiations which are due to be held in Turkey between Tehran and the world powers, FNA reported.

Davutoglu said on Wednesday the new round of talks between Iran and the G5+1 group - Russia, China, France, Britain, the US, and Germany - should be resumed and Turkey is ready to support Iran.

Iran and the G5+1 held two rounds of multifaceted talks in Geneva in December 2010 and in the Turkish city of Istanbul in January 2011.

While Tehran says it is ready to continue the talks based on common grounds, it has stressed that it will not give up any of its rights.
