Iranian non-oil exports surpass $29.5 billion in 11 months

Iran has exported over $29.5 billion worth of non-oil goods, excluding condensates, in the first 11 months of the current calendar year, which started on March 21, the IRNA news agency reports.

The exports amounted to 58.3 million tons in weight, up 24 percent year on year, the report added.

Iran's total value of foreign trade exceeded $93.87 billion, the Iranian Customs Administration director said on March 2.

Abbas Memarnejad told IRNA that non-oil exports (including gas condensates) amounted to 68.6 million tons, valued at $39 billion in the mentioned period of time, showing 28.5 percent rise year on year.

Meanwhile, imports totaled 33.5 million tons, worth $54.8 billion, or a 6.4 percent drop compared to the same period last year.

China and the UAE were the main importer and the exporter of Iranian goods, accounting for 16.7 percent of the total imports and 32.6 percent of the total exports, respectively.
