Today, Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's supporters clashed with those protesting against the president right in front of the parliament, ILNA reported.

According to ILNA's journalist reporting from the scene, the fight started in the morning, when Ahmadinejad appeared at the morning session of the parliament to answer the questions.

The fight was reportedly so intense that police and special forces had to interfere.

Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is facing a possible impeachment from the country's parliament, as his answers were assessed as "unsatisfactory and contemptuous" by some members of the Parliament.

Iranian MP Ali Motahhari, representing the members of Parliament, posed 10 questions to Ahmadinejad. He criticised the Ahmadinejad administration on a violation of rows and avoiding executing the Parliament's approved bails.

Mostafa Reza Hosseini noted that the president already answered all the questions, and later today parliament will take a more detailed look at the answers.

Hosseini added that the parliament so far did not decide whether Ahmadinejad should face impeachment or get accused of "inadequacy", and taken off his post as president of Iran.

Later today, the designers of "questioning president' motion will conduct a special meeting, during which the mentioned two questions will be discussed.
