Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmpanparast said that Iran condemns the terrorist attack that occurred in Iraq on Tuesday, ISNA reported.
"Terrorist bombings in Iraq, which killed and injured some people, including a number of Iranian pilgrims targeted Iraq's independence, security and stability," Mehmanparast added.
In Karbala, two roadside bomb blasts ripped through the holy Shiite city, killing over a dozen people, including at least six Iranian pilgrims, Fars News Agency reported.
Mehmanparast said that Iran supports the Iraqi government to use suitable ways to battle against unti-humanitarian and terrorist actions.
