Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said that The UN-Arab League peace envoy for Syria Kofi Annan will visit Tehran next week, IRNA reported.

Salehi noted that Annan is expected to visit Iran either on Monday or Tuesday.

"We hope Annan's mission in Syria will be successful," Salehi said. "There is a way out for Syria, and this issue must be approached with patience".

One of Kofi Annan's proposals for solving Syria crisis is 'stopping all forms of armed violence by all parties of the conflict under UN supervision, starting with withdrawal of Syrian troops from the country's major cities'.

The document also suggests 'ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to areas affected by armed conflict and the release of illegally detained persons'.

"Any rush or a fast change of government in Syria can badly affect the region and create additional problems," Salehi underscored.

He added that there are some disagreements between Iran and Turkey on Syrian issue, however dialogs and consultations are being held on a regular basis.
