The capabilities Iran has developed have not only made the country self-sufficient, they've given it the ability to help other countries, Mehr news Agency reported quoting Iran's Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi as saying.
Last year (Iran's solar year ended on March 20), the Ministry of Defense succeeded in acquiring a variety of new weapons and equipment to equip the Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the armed forces, Vahidi said.
The ministry was also successful in diversifying its rocket, sea, electronic, and optics programs and made noticeable progress in its aerospace work.
