Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affaires, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian says Iran-Turkey ties are ever lasting, strategic, solid and exemplary, IRNA reported.

Talking to IRNA on Wednesday, Abdollahian, commenting on the impact of the Istanbul Meeting of the Syrian Friends, on Tehran-Ankara relations, said recent visit to Iran of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Teyyip Erdogan and his meetings with senior Iranian officials testify to the existence of ever-lasting and solid ties between the two countries.

He said there might however be differences of opinion over Syrian crisis but there have been the highest degree of consultations between the two sides at ministerial level in recent months, which helped the two sides find a proper political strategy for different issues.
