Military service rules have been changed in Iran, Mehr reported.
Since the new year (ended on March 19 in Iran) the military service in Iran has been reduced to 21 months, instead of 24. This change however does not affect the soldiers that were drafted before the new year.
For those who serve in conflict zones, the service has been reduced to 18 months, and for those in areas hazardous to health - 19 months.
